Log Yard Technician

Clendenin Lumber Co., located in Donalds SC is a leading manufacturer of hardwood lumber. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team as a Log Yard Technician. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload and load trucks as well as grading/scaling logs per company guidelines. Log Yard Technician Requirements (including but not limited to): Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Chainsaw operation. Scaling, trimming and preparing logs. Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment. Prefer a candidate with previous experience as an equipment operator either in a log yard environment or at a logging operation Must be self motivated and organized Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment Must maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license Pay is Dependent on Experience Full Plan of Benefits First Shift #J-18808-Ljbffr Baillie Lumber Co.
