Executive Desktop Support Associate

Executive/Desktop Support Associate – New York, NY The Information Technology team invites a highly motivated Executive/Desktop Support Associate to provide IT support and services for a full floor of employees, including senior executives and their administrative assistants. Key Responsibilities Field incoming requests and issue tickets from end users in ServiceNow. Diagnose and resolve issues related to PCs, mobile devices, video‑conferencing, application software, telecommunication, network, and servers. Personally resolve or appropriately escalates issues, providing detailed logs to development teams. Record, track, and document the help‑desk request problem‑solving process. Apply diagnostic utilities for troubleshooting. Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization. Perform hands‑on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems. Use a “fix it twice” approach: implement tactical fixes immediately and then follow up with a strategic solution. Install a variety of hardware and software for executives. Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQs on the internet to aid problem resolution. Help define and document feature requests and software bugs. Attend meetings to guide system design and provide direction. Proactively address performance improvements and optimizations. Maintain system documentation with hardware and software dependencies. Work offsite as required to support remote and home offices. Participate in on‑call night, weekend rotations, and occasional after‑hour project work. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a directly related field. 8+ years of desktop‑level support experience, including at least 3 years supporting executives with “white glove” service. Exceptional customer service, prioritization, and multi‑tasking abilities. Expertise in PC hardware and peripherals, video‑conferencing, Windows10/11, Microsoft Office365, Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, remote VPN connectivity, and Active Directory. Proven capability supporting audio/video conferencing solutions. Experience with Apple devices and mobile devices (iOS/Android). Compensation Base salary range: $150,000–$160,000. Total compensation may include bonuses, overtime, deferred cash, benefits, and company contributions to a 401(k) plan.
