What You’ll Do As General Manager, you are the leader of the business—responsible for driving results, developing teams, and delivering an exceptional 5‑star experience across every part of the resort. Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and resort team members Own full‑cycle talent management: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance Build a high‑performance, accountability‑driven culture Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews Operations & Business Ownership Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all departments Ensure excellence in cleanliness, safety, and pet care standards Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency Maintain facility standards, vendor relationships, and inventory control Customer Experience & Sales Set and uphold 5‑Star service expectations across all interactions Drive revenue through service offerings, client retention, and enrollment growth Personally resolve high‑level customer concerns Monitor feedback and continuously improve the guest experience Marketing & Community Leadership Act as a Brand Ambassador in the local community Build partnerships with veterinarians, groomers, and pet‑related businesses Lead marketing initiatives to drive awareness and growth Financial & Performance Management Own P&L performance and profitability Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to drive results Manage expenses, payroll, and budgeting Identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency What We’re Looking For 3–4+ years of management experience (pet care, hospitality, retail, or similar) Strong business acumen (P&L, labor, operations, performance metrics) Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and develop talent Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Sales‑oriented mindset with a focus on growth and results Valid driver’s license Flexible availability including weekends and holidays What You’ll Get 401(k) Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Employee discounts and perks Why K9 Resorts?
