Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Ortho Neuro

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical unit with a neuro/ortho specialty focus
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 5 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for orthopedic and neurological patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient setting
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic or neurological nursing
• Familiarity with post-surgical patient care and orthopedic recovery protocols
