Clinical Specialist, Cardiac Rhythm Management - Lexington, KY

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist for Cardiac Rhythm Management in Lexington, Kentucky. The role provides engineering, technical, and educational support to physicians and healthcare professionals regarding cardiac rhythm products, serving as a clinical liaison between the medical community and the business.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical interface between medical professionals and Abbott regarding CRM products
• Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support to field inquiries from physicians and healthcare staff
• Develop and lead training sessions on CRM products for healthcare professionals
• Build and maintain credible business relationships with customers while sharing product expertise
• Offer backup support to CRM sales representatives and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
• Minimum 2+ years related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
• Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and ability to obtain CRM product certification
• Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room procedures and protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to develop presentation materials

Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
