Parts Sales / Counter Sales Representative

Pay: $17-$20/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales / Counter Sales Representative to join a busy automotive parts operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working with automotive parts in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and orders
Identify and locate automotive parts using inventory systems and customer-provided information
Provide pricing, quotes, and product recommendations
Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with inventory and yard personnel to locate and verify parts
Maintain inventory accuracy and update part information as needed
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, repair shops, and service providers
Assist with shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory

What We're Looking For

Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with vehicle components
Ability to learn inventory management software and parts lookup systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
Previous sales, automotive, parts, or customer service experience is preferred but not required

Top 3 Responsibilities

Assist customers with parts identification and sales
Maintain accurate inventory and order information
Provide outstanding customer service while supporting daily operations

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
Ability to work in both office and warehouse/yard environments
