About this role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to own and build net-new product areas at a high-growth AI startup transforming insurance operations. You'll join a 15-person team (10 in eng/prod) that's grown from $0 to $3M in revenue in just 15 months, building AI agents that handle complex insurance workflows across voice, chat, email, and SMS. This is a high-ownership role where you'll be building from scratch 80% of the time, specifically driving the company's new browser automation and document intelligence platform. You'll report directly to the CEO and work alongside a tight-knit, ambitious team in San Francisco.

Will you be doing?

• Own and build conversational, real-time AI agents for insurance operations, end-to-end
• Ship net-new features rapidly (first PR to production in week one) across a modern TypeScript/React/Node.js stack
• Work cross-functionally with product and forward-deployed engineering teams, and selectively join customer meetings to demo features you've built
• Shape technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and infrastructure as an early engineer at a company scaling fast
• Help establish engineering best practices and mentor newer engineers as the team grows toward 30 people by year-end

Why candidates should join

1. We build AI agents that handle complex insurance operations — from claims intake to policy servicing — across voice, chat, email, and SMS for carriers representing $10B+ in annual premiums.
2. Y Combinator-backed, $0 to $3M revenue in 15 months, team of 15 with plans to hit 30 by year-end. You'd be joining at the perfect inflection point before a Series A raise.
3. Senior Full Stack Engineer role with $160K–$230K base + 0.2%–0.6% equity. On-site in SF, owning net-new product areas end-to-end.
