Audio Visual Support TechnicianPay Rate: $18 - $20/hr (paid weekly) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Location: Warren, MI 48090 Position Type: Temp-to-HireSummarySupport daily conference room and audiovisual operations by maintaining AV equipment, responding to technical support requests, and ensuring meeting spaces are fully functional. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on audiovisual experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support for conference room audiovisual equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve basic AV hardware and connectivity issues.Assist with conference room setups and support onsite meetings and events.Replace projector lamps and perform basic preventative maintenance on AV equipment.Conduct inventory of audiovisual equipment and conference room supplies.Enter and maintain inventory and service records through data entry.Coordinate equipment setup, testing, and basic repairs.Deliver excellent customer service while responding to user support requests.Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum of 3 years of related experience required; 5+ years preferred.Previous experience supporting audiovisual equipment and conference room technology.Ability to troubleshoot AV systems, displays, projectors, and connectivity issues.Strong customer service and communication skills.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot technical equipment.Comfortable walking throughout a large campus during the workday.Benefits (Employee Contribution)Health insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Dental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending account (FSA)Life insuranceRetirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
