Physical Therapist Assistant - Part Time

TMC is a therapy provider that brings physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long term care providers. We are growing and looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the team. Department EncompassCare Plus Location The Manor at Greendale Compensation $28.00 - $32.00 / hour Key Responsibilities Patient Care Implementation: Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients’ specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs. Therapeutic Exercise and Activities: Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery. Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques, monitor progress, and provide feedback. Modalities and Physical Agents: Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and pain management techniques. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor patients’ responses to treatment interventions, document progress, and share updates with supervising physical therapist.
