RN Med/Tele/Stepdown Float

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 13 weeks with possibilities of extension

Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Job Description

• The schedule requirement is every other weekend, every other Monday, and every other Friday.
• There will be very limited Wednesday scheduling approved.
• Any weekend RTO that is submitted and approved will need to be made up.
• The makeup shifts will be scheduled based on facility need.

Job Summary

• RN's are required to have 1 year experience in their specialty.
• Preferable experience at a previous Trauma facility.
• Preferable Trauma or specialty national certification.
• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods and techniques of nursing practice.
• Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care.
• Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
• Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.

Requirements

• Education Other: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
• ACLS (Highly Preferred)
• Experience 2 Years experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred)
• License/Certifications RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support Must be AHA (Required)
• NIHSS(Required)
