Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable, but not a requirement
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for fostering student achievement through therapeutic interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled physical therapy assessments, planning, and treatment within the school environment
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel
• Document student progress, prepare required reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility, safety, and participation
• Promote inclusive practices that enable students to thrive academically and socially
