Salary Package:

- Develop and optimize laser welding processes for new and existing products.
- Design and implement laser weld tooling and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot laser welding equipment and process issues on the production floor.
- Conduct root cause analysis of weld defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure weldability and manufacturability.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and control plans.
- Perform process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC) analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in laser welding processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming and operating laser welding systems (e.g., fiber, YAG, CO2 lasers).
- Strong understanding of metallurgy, material science, and weld joint design.
- Experience with weld quality inspection techniques (e.g., destructive/non-destructive testing, metallography).
- Experience with fiber optic laser delivery systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to program and troubleshoot robotic welding systems (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka).
- Knowledge of material science, specifically metallurgy related to welding.
- CAD software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
