The Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neuroradiologist for a per diem (as-needed) faculty appointment within our academic Neuroradiology Division. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered academic practice while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpretation of neuroradiology examinations, including brain, spine, and head and neck imaging
• Participation in clinical coverage as scheduled

Work Schedule

Flexible per diem scheduling options are available and can be tailored to the candidate's availability. The primary need for this position is weekend neuroradiology coverage across the Johns Hopkins Health System, making it particularly well suited for individuals seeking a predominantly weekend-based practice arrangement.

Additional coverage opportunities may be available based on departmental needs and candidate interest.

• Predominantly weekend coverage
• Occasional weekday coverage opportunities
• Remote reading opportunities
• Block scheduling or other non-traditional arrangements based on mutual agreement

Appointment & Compensation

• Faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor, commensurate with experience
• Per diem compensation commensurate with an annualized range of $441,000-$535,000, prorated based on days worked

Qualifications

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
• Demonstrated commitment to education, teamwork, and academic medicine
