The facility features a Level 2 nursery and provides both hospital-based and clinic-based care, offering providers a dynamic and well-rounded practice environment with strong support services. Opportunity: Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: Locum Tenens coverage beginning October 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis Local or drive candidates preferred Providers will be performing both hospital and clinic duties simultaneously Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30-5:00 and Friday 8:30-12:00 Each provider has specific assigned OB days Clinic schedules range from 15-25 patients per day Ultrasound available in clinic Hospital is on track for approximately 540 annual deliveries Average daily OB census is approximately 2 OB patients per day Call shifts are 24 hours in duration GYN coverage includes emergency GYN surgeries and consults from the Emergency Department 116-bed facility with a Level 2 nursery; infants weighing less than 1,500 grams are transferred to a higher level of care Board certification required; active South Carolina medical license required Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days Nearest airports are Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC Lodging available at the Hampton Inn in Hartsville, SC at the hospital rate Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
