Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-established practice in Towson, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, manage acute and chronic conditions, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform annual wellness exams, preventive care visits, and health screenings.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current DEA registration.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Previous outpatient primary care experience.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Interest in preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- Shared call schedule with other physicians
- No hospital admissions
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Approximately 30-40 patients per day
