Calling all licensed massage therapists! If you would like to work contract hours at Friendship Village, we have a beautiful massage therapy suite for you. Come join our Life Enrichment team!

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and professional part-time massage therapist to provide exceptional massage therapy services to our residents and staff. If you are passionate about improving quality of life and creating a relaxing experience for others, we would love to hear from you.

Massage therapists work primarily in our Essence Day Spa and periodically in our Assisted Living and Skilled Care Center located on our campus. You will have a high amount of autonomy in your role including having a flexible schedule.

Requirements include:

• Must be licensed in the State of Iowa
• Graduated from a massage therapy training program approved by the State of Iowa
• Ability to provide a full menu of massage services - previous experience is preferred
• Interact in a calm and positive manner while providing massage therapy experiences
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with residents and staff
• Maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million/claim; $3 million aggregate coverage
• Ability to work occasionally at planned events throughout the year

All spa supplies and products are provided. Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: criminal background checks, abuse registry check, drug test, physical, and TB test.
