About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg/Tele, Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 4+ years recent acute care experience; some experience in stepdown needed for Night shift; must have 1 recent successful travel contract. License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Strongly prefer EPIC experience; able to independently read telemetry strips and pass on-site exam on Day 1 with an 84% or better (2 attempts). Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a MedSurg/Tele Float Pool position. The role requires a dedicated professional with a background in stepdown nursing. Candidates should have experience in telemetry and the ability to adapt quickly to different units. Psychiatric experience is highly preferred. The position involves working night shifts, with an expectation to work most Fridays. Extended requests for time off are not permitted, and there are no specific schedule requests. Average patient ratio is 5:1. The float pool covers various specialties, including ortho, urology, neurology, GYN, cardiology, and cardio-thoracic patients.
