Pharmacist Position At Willis KnightonWould you like to join a not-for-profit health system that has been nationally recognized for quality of care? Four state-of-the-art acute care facilities, two surgery centers, a nationally-recognized heart institute, and a world-class cancer center. These are only examples of what is waiting for you at Willis Knighton in northwest Louisiana. Of our four acute care facilities, four feature pharmacies that are open 24 hours a day. Willis Knighton pharmacists function as independent professionals responsible and accountable for both pharmaceutical and clinical services. Your job will include preparation of compounds, intravenous admixtures, irrigation solutions, chemotherapeutic agents and oral medications in accordance with accepted pharmacy practice, ASHP standards and all state and federal laws and regulations. The orientation is individualized to your specific needs. Salaries are competitive with our market. Louisiana licensure or eligibility is a requirement for employment.
