Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $12.77 - $18.40 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Job Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain cleanliness and perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operating. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and monies collected at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of the day’s business. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc. May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates (e.g., phones, sales and service). Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience Must be able to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18‑point record system. Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts (desired). Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired). Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired. Bi‑lingual candidates encouraged to apply.
