Tasting Room Associate

Hinterhaus Distilling is seeking a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and personable part‑time employee for our front‑of‑house operations including sales, tastings, and cocktail operations. A successful candidate for Tasting Room Associate at Hinterhaus Distilling will: Possess keen observational and interpersonal skills to assist patrons in a friendly and professional manner Act in a kind, responsible and professional demeanor with fellow team members including cohorts and supervisors Take pride in their work, and drive towards the betterment of themselves and the team Take an avid interest in learning about our processes and products and be able to articulate succinctly Be confident and receptive to frequent feedback with the ability to pivot and grow Drive tasting room sales and prioritize patrons at all times Maintain high standards of cleanliness in front and back of house to ensure quality and safety of patrons and staff Be reliable and adhere to company attendance schedules Strictly adhere to all distillery, state and federal laws and regulations surrounding the sale and tastings of distilled spirits Be available to work as needed/scheduled Thursday‑Saturday 11‑7pm and Sunday 11‑6pm Opportunities will be available for successful, motivated employees to learn new skills, explore other parts of the distilling industry and assist the team in tasks outside of the core Tasting Room Associate role and hours. While performing the duties of this job, a Tasting Room Associate is required regularly to stand, walk, and assist patrons and fellow employees. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. Benefits for Part Time employees include Sick Time and company‑matched 401(k). This position is designed as a non‑exempt position requiring an individual spends more than 50% of each work week performing the tasks outlined in this job description. Must be over 21 years of age Must be or become RBS Alcohol Server Certified within 30 days of hiring Experience and proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) preferred POS and cash handling experience is required Must be willing and able to pass a background check The Tasting Room Associate position is eligible for tip share after training period completes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
