Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (applicable to grades K-5)
• Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, families, and support personnel
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and resources to support students with IEPs within the elementary resource setting
• Develop, adapt, and modify curriculum materials to meet individual student needs
• Conduct assessments and utilize data to inform instructional strategies and monitor progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to ensure all students receive appropriate accommodations and supports
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and ongoing professional development related to best practices in special education

This contract position offers a full-time schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, providing consistency and structure for both educator and students. You will play a vital role in helping elementary students develop confidence, skills, and a love for learning.
