Audacy , a leading digital media company specialising in audio entertainment, is seeking a meticulous and organised Remote Bookkeeper to join our team on a Full-Time basis. Audacy delivers engaging content, including music, news, and sports, through a vast network of radio stations and podcasts. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operation of the company. The offered compensation for this role is $25 - $30 per hour (USD) .

Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
* Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.
* Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and relevant regulations.
* Handle payroll processing and address any related queries.

Qualifications

* Proven professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
* A thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practices.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* An accounting qualification (e.g., AAT) would be highly advantageous.
* Previous experience within the media or entertainment industry is desirable but not essential.
