Traveling CT/X-Ray Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights: 10-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high proficiency in both CT and X-ray specialties. The technologist will work in a hospital setting and operate various imaging equipment while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed.
• Capably complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Move and adjust radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment to obtain optimum imaging views.
• Operate film processing and mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Organize and prioritize daily workflow efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 2 years current X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm.
• Experience working with all age groups.
• Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Must possess personal vehicle for transport.

Dress Code

Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, personal plain scrubs. Closed-toe shoes are required; sneakers or clogs are acceptable. Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and dangling earrings are not permitted.
