Job Details

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories meticulously
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and carry out personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including prepping operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and supplying surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, from medication administration and wound management to discharge planning and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completed clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
