We are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment where patients feel comfortable, valued, and supported.The ideal candidate is passionate about patient education, preventive care, and building long-term relationships while delivering outstanding clinical treatment.SchedulePart-Time1 Saturday per month: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PMOne-hour patient appointments, allowing you to provide quality care and personalized attention to every patientResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and periodontal chartingProvide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and preventive dental treatmentsTake digital radiographs in accordance with Ohio regulationsScreen patients for periodontal disease, oral disease, and oral cancerEducate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive dental careDocument patient findings and maintain accurate electronic dental recordsCollaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plansMaintain infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelinesBuild positive relationships with patients while providing compassionate, high-quality careSupport a positive and collaborative team environmentQualificationsCurrent Ohio Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License in good standingCurrent CPR/BLS CertificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesExperience with digital radiography and electronic dental recordsCommitment to delivering exceptional patient care and working as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsOne or more years of clinical hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to applyExperience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental softwareKnowledge of periodontal therapy and patient education best practicesWhy Join Mentor Smiles?One-hour appointments that allow you to focus on quality patient careSupportive and collaborative team cultureModern office environment and technologyOpportunity to build meaningful patient relationshipsPractice committed to clinical excellence and exceptional patient experiencesIf you're a dedicated Dental Hygienist looking for a positive team environment and the opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you!
