Hours/Shift: Full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm - No weekends or holidays!

Travel: Frequent travel (up to 50%) will be required to assist our York location for staffing and support needs. *Manager will discuss further during interview process

This position offers a $7,500.00 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment!

Purpose:
In addition to providing professional nursing care to patients within the office setting, this role provides leadership and support to the clinical team. The position assists with coordinating daily clinic operations, training and mentoring staff, supporting appropriate staffing and workflow, and providing input on hiring and performance decisions.

• Train and mentor LPNs and Medical Assistants.
• Help ensure appropriate clinic staffing and coordinate daily clinical workflow.
• Assign physicians to exam rooms/pods and clinical staff to support physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Order and maintain necessary clinical supplies.
• Serve as a resource for clinic staff and communicate workflow concerns or issues.
• Partner with the Clinical Manager to address and resolve clinic-related concerns.
• Provide input on LPN and Medical Assistant performance reviews and participate in the review process as appropriate.
• Provide input on hiring decisions.
• Assess patients general condition and obtain vital signs and weight.
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications, including oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications, under the direction of an RN.
• Perform phlebotomy and endocrine testing as ordered.
• Document patient care activities, interventions, patient and family responses, and medication information in the medical record.
• Promote patient wellness through education and communication of provider instructions.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and Pennsylvania Department of Health standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and other protected information.

• Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience required. 
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability. 
• Must be able to perform all duties of a Licensed Practical Nurse in the unit. 
• Must have in-depth knowledge of department and system-wide policies and procedures in order to function as a resource to others.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Act 34

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
