The Maintenance Manager oversees all equipment maintenance and reliability activities within a paper manufacturing facility. This role ensures safe, efficient operation of processing equipment, leads maintenance teams, manages budgets, and drives continuous improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop Maintenance Group Leads, Manufacturing Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians.
• Work with the Plant Manager to create and implement training programs.
• Ensure high-quality maintenance work to improve reliability and prevent repeat issues.
• Demonstrate strong project management , time management, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Develop, track, and manage KPIs for maintenance performance.
• Set goals and objectives for maintenance operations.
• Perform and oversee repairs on processing equipment, rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
• Manage preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance programs.
• Use a CMMS to plan, schedule, and track maintenance activities.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and capital project planning.
• Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and business units to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
• Experience repairing and maintaining processing equipment.
• Experience developing and managing budgets.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, hydraulics, conveyors, and industrial machinery.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and reliability programs.
• CMMS experience required.
• Background in pulp and paper or heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
