Manufacturing Engineer

Provides engineering support for manufacturing equipment in a medical device environment. Responsible for equipment installation, validation, troubleshooting, and driving process improvements while ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing equipment and operations
• Assist with FAT, equipment installation, commissioning, and integration.
• Develop equipment layouts and support facility changes. (AutoCAD)
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide hands-on support for equipment setup, alignment, and startup.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, and process improvements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Cary, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
