VP, IT Engineering

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a VP-level or equivalent executive position within a SaaS or technology company.
• We have deep hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform, enterprise security frameworks, and modern ITSM practices in a cloud-native, largely remote, Mac-based environment.
• We have owned enterprise business systems such as CRM, telephony, and ERP platforms, and partnered with business stakeholders to shape system strategy and optimization.
• We use AI tools daily, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, and have a strong perspective on how AI can reshape IT operations.
• We understand the iPaaS and integration platform landscape, including tools such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, n8n, Zapier, and Make, and have first-hand experience building on at least one platform.
• We can discuss the trade-offs between orchestration platforms and custom code, and know when each approach is appropriate.
• We have experience designing or operating a data layer such as ITSM, a data lake, or analytics infrastructure, and understand how ITSM, iPaaS, and data systems work together to enable IT operations.
• We have proven success building, leading, and motivating cross-functional technology teams, with strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
• We are strategic thinkers who balance long-term vision with near-term execution, stay comfortable in ambiguity, and treat manual work as a problem to solve rather than accept.

• We define and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with company growth priorities, with emphasis on scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• We own the strategy, administration, and improvement of enterprise business systems, including Salesforce, telephony and contact center tools, productivity suites, and other mission-critical SaaS applications.
• We partner with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to ensure our business systems support their workflows, reporting needs, and growth goals.
• We lead the assessment and selection of a next-generation telephony and contact center platform, prioritizing AI-native capabilities, automation, and modern customer engagement workflows.
• We oversee enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud environments, networks, endpoints, and SaaS platforms, making sure availability, performance, and reliability meet or exceed service levels.
• We implement and operationalize cybersecurity policies and standards established by the CISO, including identity and access management, threat detection, incident response, and data protection.
• We drive automation of recurring IT work such as ticket triage, provisioning, access management, and reporting to reduce manual effort wherever possible.
• We own AI cost governance, including vendor management, usage tracking, quota oversight, and reporting to budget owners across the organization.
• We lead, coach, and develop a high-performing IT team of 8, building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• We manage the IT budget, improve cost efficiency without compromising quality or reliability, and negotiate strategic vendor contracts to maximize value.
