Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and support with intubation procedures
• Administer nebulizer treatments and other respiratory therapies
• Ensure equipment readiness, including experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat
• Provide care to patients across all age ranges

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RRT certification
• BLS certification
• ICU and NICU experience
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• Competency in drawing ABGs
