Landmark has an opportunity for a Shop Helper to join our team. This position performs tasks related to fabricating steel plate safely, efficiently, and to Landmark's quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately measure, mark & lay-out materials/parts using a tape measure along with other lay-out tools
- Reliably listen & follow instructions
- Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand and power tools including saws, sheers, punches, grinders, cutting torch, & handheld plasma torch
- Safely and efficiently operate an overhead crane
- General shop housekeeping; organization of raw & processed materials
- Understands and practices the Landmark Safety Policy. Observes all safety practices and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift or other heavy equipment
Equipment Operation:
- Frequent use of various Power Tools
- Frequent use of various Manual Tools
- Potential rare use of Heavy Equipment
Experience Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in a fabrication / steel fabrication or welding shop setting
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:
- Forklift certification a plus
