A leading truck-trailer rental and leasing organization is hiring an Operations Management Trainee in Fontana, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an ambitious, career-focused professional who wants hands-on operations training, customer interaction, leadership development, and a clear path into operations management or outside sales.

This role offers structured mentorship, professional development, and exposure to a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment. You will learn the business from the ground up by working directly with customers, equipment, vendors, internal teams, and branch leadership. Key Responsibilities

- Support daily branch operations in a transportation yard and office environment, with approximately 80 percent of the role performed outdoors and 20 percent in the office.
- Assist commercial customers with trailer rental needs, equipment options, account questions, and service support.
- Inspect trailers using handheld technology, checking for damage, equipment issues, and repair needs inside, outside, and underneath trailers.
- Coordinate repair assignments with vendors and trailer mechanics to help keep rental equipment available and operating efficiently.
- Manage customer account activity, including credit support, collections assistance, insurance verification, inventory updates, and operational documentation.
- Use technology systems to complete equipment inventories, track assets, manage workflow, and support day-to-day logistics operations.

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $50,000 annually
- Location: Fontana, CA 92337 | Onsite
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift.
- Office hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.
