Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6–7, covering post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative, hospice, and end-of-life populations
• Monitor and manage patients on remote telemetry (no bedside monitors on unit; monitoring performed remotely by monitor technician)
• Administer drips including Heparin and MSO4 for comfort measures; no cardiac drips required
• Support patients requiring Bipap, CPAP, and High Flow oxygen, all managed in coordination with Respiratory Therapy
• Provide care to both standard and isolation-designated patients, including comfort with simultaneous assignment to clean and isolation cohorts as needed
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling (Saturday/Sunday) and two required Fridays per schedule period, integrated into the holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient setting
• Comfort working with isolation and non-isolation patient cohorts simultaneously
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet weekend and Friday scheduling requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-surgical and orthopedic patient populations
• Familiarity with palliative, hospice, or end-of-life care
• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring workflows
• Prior experience with dialysis patients in an inpatient setting
