Physical TherapistScheduleDay Shift, 5x8 hoursAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Job DescriptionThe Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans as per the patient's needs and physician's directions. This role includes delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring effective return to community activities. The Physical Therapist serves as an educator to patients, families, coworkers, and students while demonstrating behaviors aligned with the organization's mission statement and core values.ResponsibilitiesComplete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on facilitating patient discharge within an established timeframe.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge, including timely equipment trialing and patient training.Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.Document medical records clearly and concisely, following state, federal, and organizational guidelines.Ensure patient care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.Participate in educational programs and provide a positive learning environment for students.Actively engage in professional development and advocacy efforts in the community.Maintain compliance with state practice acts and complete all continuing education requirements.Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBLS Certification required prior to first shift.Must hold a valid, current State license.Minimum of 2 years of experience required.Previous LTACH experience preferred.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
