Ask us how we do it at the Y- it's awesome! What is Needed for This Job Minimum 16 years of age Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area – Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, and more! Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention. Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability The Responsibilities We Will Trust You With Run on‑site instruction for youth sports leagues including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport Coach youth flag football, soccer, basketball teams in practices & games Officiate youth flag football games via NFL Flag rules, youth soccer via MLS Soccer rules, and basketball games depending on the season Teach age‑appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport Set up class 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time to ensure classes begin on time Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs Take attendance to ensure participants are enrolled in class Lead teams with positivity & enthusiasm Provide excellent service to members and participants What You Can Expect Support from an amazing team which includes training you on expectations Opportunities to learn and grow Being a part of a non‑profit organization that works to make the community stronger Great members to work with every day!
