Accountant (Contract-to-Hire) | Multi-Entity Close | NetSuite Highly Preferred | HOA / Property Accounting Preferred Pay (hourly): $48–$60/hr (annualized equivalent: ~$100,000–$125,000) Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to identify an Accountant (Contract-to-Hire) for a stable organization supporting multiple entities . This role is a strong fit for someone coming from an HOA accounting, property accounting, real estate, trust, or fund-style environment —any background where you’re used to juggling multiple sets of books , cash activity, and recurring close cycles. NetSuite proficiency is highly preferred. What you’ll do Own the monthly close for assigned entities: bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial statement preparation Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities Track daily cash activity , research variances, and resolve banking issues quickly and accurately Support regulatory filings as needed and assist with related reporting requirements Partner with external auditors: prepare audit workpapers and respond to PBC requests for assigned areas Provide backup and cross-coverage for members of the Accounting team Take on additional projects aligned to Controller/CFO priorities What we’re looking for 5+ years of accounting experience with full-cycle close ownership HOA / property / real estate accounting or similar multi-entity environment strongly preferred NetSuite proficiency highly preferred Experience preparing financial statements , reconciliations, and basic financial analysis Comfortable working directly with external auditors and producing clean, well-supported audit documentation Strong organization and time-management skills—able to manage priorities across multiple deadlines/entities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Professional, service-oriented communicator (internal stakeholders; may interact with community contacts) Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr Bell & Associates, Inc.
