Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a Security Officer, you will:
Protect facilities, equipment, and personnel through proactive security measures.
Monitor and control access to buildings and restricted areas.
Screen visitors, inspect packages and baggage, and verify credentials.
Respond quickly and professionally to security incidents, fire alarms, and emergencies.
Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and door/lock checks.
Communicate effectively using radios, telephones, and written reports.
Escort employees, visitors, government personnel, and the public as required.
Enforce company, safety, and site-specific policies and procedures.
Maintain situational awareness and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments.
Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed reports documenting incidents and activities.
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience as a Security Officer
Possess a Security Officer License issued by the State of California by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
EMT Certification preferred
Must be a US Citizen
Possess a REAL ID compliant drivers license.
Estimated Salary/Wage
Up to USD $35.28/Hr.
