Caregiver (PCA/CNA) – Stone Mountain, GAPosition: Part-Time CaregiverLocation: Stone Mountain, GASchedule: As Needed (Based on Client Needs)Pay: $14–$16 per hour (based on experience)Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver to assist a male client in Stone Mountain with mid-stage dementia. The client requires hands-on support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).The ideal candidate has experience working with dementia clients, understands redirection techniques, and provides care with dignity, respect, and calm reassurance.Responsibilities:Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support)Provide supervision and safety monitoring due to cognitive declineAssist with IADLs (meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands if needed)Provide companionship and cognitive engagementOffer medication remindersMonitor and report changes in behavior or conditionMaintain clear communication with office staff and familyCare Level:Moderate assistance required with hands-on personal care and supervision.Requirements:CNA or PCA certification preferredCPR/First Aid certificationCurrent TB testExperience with mid-stage dementia strongly preferredAbility to provide calm redirection and structured supportReliable transportationAbility to pass background screeningBenefits:Competitive pay ($14–$16/hour)Flexible schedulingSupportive office teamOpportunity for additional hoursAbout Us:Always Best Care – Atlanta provides compassionate, professional in-home care that supports clients in maintaining independence and dignity in their homes.
