Level II Registered Nurse - Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Schedule-D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs. No straight shift schedules!

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. This role includes responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in a telemetry setting.
• Assume expanded roles as required, including charge nurse responsibilities.
• Participate in professional development and committee activities.
• Ensure adherence to service excellence and evidence-based practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of nursing experience.
• RN License (only New York Licenses accepted).
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
• Telemetry experience is required.
