Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer, EKG/ECHO - 24h

Job Overview Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 hours. Sign-On Bonus: $20,000. Work Days: Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. Responsibilities Under the general direction of the physician and within established departmental and office guidelines, performs all duties of a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist. Performs all diagnostic-testing procedures which will include Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms as ordered by the physician. Qualifications & Experience 2-5 years previous experience required Skilled professional with a solid foundation in Echocardiography Command of verbal and written English Positive interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational skills Knowledge of medical terminology Computer skills Ability to work effectively within role independently and with other team members Ability to use proper body mechanics Ability to wear personal protective equipment (face mask, goggles, latex/nonlatex gloves) as needed Education Completion of an accredited ultrasound school with a focus on Echocardiography, and/or on-site apprenticeship with an Echocardiography laboratory. Licensure & Certifications Registration with ARDMS, CCI, or RCS and CPR certification required. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $40.39 - $62.82 per hour. The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
