You ll partner directly with the CFO to bring structure, clarity, and discipline to the accounting function following a major organizational reset. Salary: $150,000 $170,000 plus bonus Why This Opportunity Stands Out Direct partnership with an experienced CFO who is actively rebuilding and modernizing the finance organization Opportunity to bring structure and best practices to a business Lead and develop a small accounting team while owning the full accounting function Broad scope role with visibility across operations, cost structure, and performance metrics Long-standing, established business with over 60 years in business Key Responsibilities For The Controller Own the monthly close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accuracy Lead job costing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting across the business Develop and track KPIs, including debt service coverage ratios and operational metrics Prepare management reports and financial analysis for executive leadership Oversee cost reporting and margin analysis to support operational decision-making Manage and develop a team of approximately five accounting staff Maintain and optimize accounting processes Qualifications For The Controller Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Prior experience managing or leading an accounting team 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
