Senior Pastor

New Hope Baptist Church is a multi-generational congregation located in Gulfport, Mississippi, committed to fulfilling the Great Commission and living out the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ. We are a generous and mission-minded church with a long history of supporting missions and serving others. Our congregation is strengthened by faithful, long-term members and leaders who are deeply invested in the life and ministry of the church. New Hope offers ministries and activities for all ages to grow as disciples and followers of Christ. We have a desire to continue growing, particularly in reaching younger families in our church and surrounding community. We believe there is a strong foundation upon which to build, and our next pastor will have the opportunity to help lead the church into its next season of ministry, outreach, discipleship, and growth. We are prayerfully seeking a Bible-teaching, compassionate, mission-minded pastor with a heart for God to lead our church family and staff. We desire a pastor who will shepherd our congregation, equip and encourage our members, and help us reach new people while continuing to build upon New Hope’s history of faithfulness, missions, and service. A seminary education or a degree from a Bible college or university is preferred. We offer a church parsonage located on church grounds to support housing needs.
