The Compensation and CAPREIT Benefits for this position can be read below./pp$27 - $29/HR/ppMedical, dental, and vision insurance/pp401(k) with company match/ppMental Health Day/ppSummer Fun Friday/ppPaid vacation days, including your birthday!, sick days, and holidays./ppCompetitive bonus and leasing commission structure./ph2Responsibilities/h2pDrive to properties within their assigned area, with occasional overnight travel/ppTroubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and all other systems and provide general maintenance, and cleaning for the assigned community/ppRespond to and complete service requests in a timely manner and notify the manager if work orders cannot be completed within 24-hours/ppPerform preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently/ppRepair and/or replace kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and washers and dryers/ppPrepare vacant apartments for move-in; including but not limited to carpet cleaning, painting and completing necessary repairs or replacements/ppMaintain community appearance by replacing lightbulbs, removing trash and litter, painting and performing repairs/ppAssist with groundskeeping, housekeeping, distribution of notices, apartment inspections, and other tasks as needed/ppProvides plumbing repairs, replacements, and/or installations including repairing leaks and removing clogs in sinks and toilets/ppPerform electrical repairs and replacement of light fixtures and related items/ppOrganize, prioritize, and execute work orders/ppDocument status updates and completion of work orders in the property management/ppParticipate in on-call emergency rotation/ppParticipate in preparation and clean-up of extreme weather, including but not limited to snow removal, hurricanes, floods etc./ppInteract with residents and prospective residents in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner/ppSafely operate power equipment and tools and use protective equipment when necessary and follow safety protocols and procedures/ppAssist in maintaining the inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment/ppPerform all other duties, as assigned./ph2Qualifications/h2pPosition Requirements:/pp1 to 3 years of apartment maintenance experience/ppA valid CFC with Type I and II or with Universal certification required/ppA valid drivers license and reliable transportation to respond to on-call emergencies, when needed/ppAbility to drive over night/ppAbility to provide your own basic tools/ppComputer literacy skills/ppA high school diploma or equivalent/ppSchedule Requirements: Monday-Friday/On Call/pp#CAPREITUS/p/div
