About the Position

Physical Therapist (PT) – Pediatric Rehabilitation – Outpatient – Day Shift – Zanesville, OH Relocation Candidates Welcome

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting in Zanesville, Ohio. The selected candidate will manage an existing caseload of approximately 50 patients and provide individualized therapy services to support children's functional abilities, mobility, and developmental goals.

Candidates must have an active Ohio Physical Therapist license in hand, current BLS/BCLS certification, and at least two years of recent pediatric rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric patients and assess their physical therapy needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.

• Manage an existing outpatient pediatric caseload of approximately 50 patients.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC.

• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes.

• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic activities and home exercise programs.

• Active Ohio Physical Therapist license in hand.

• Current BLS/BCLS certification.

• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric rehabilitation experience.

• Experience managing an outpatient pediatric caseload.

• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

• Availability to work five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Contract: 13 weeks

• Start Date: October 26, 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, five 8-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Alternative Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts are not available.

• Holiday Coverage: Not required.

• Weekends: The outpatient pediatric rehabilitation center is closed.

• On-Call: Not required.

• Time Off: Candidates requesting multiple days off may receive lower priority.

• Overtime: After 40 hours per week, in accordance with applicable requirements.
