About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice Provost and Dean of Students to join their team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned and collaborative student affairs leader, serving as a visible and engaged advocate for all students. This role involves providing strategic direction and management of the Office of the Dean of Students, with a focus on innovative co-curricular programs that promote student well-being, engagement, and success. The AVP and Dean of Students will also be responsible for supporting the mission and priorities of the Division of Student Affairs and the University's strategic plan, and must be prepared to work with a diverse student body, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Key responsibilities for the AVP and Dean of Students include leading a large team of professionals, maintaining a high level of visibility and trust across campus, and serving as a key partner to academic affairs. They should be a strategic and effective communicator, with a broad understanding of higher education leadership, student support practices, and best practices in student safety and wellness.
