Responsibilities

• To provide patient care related services and tasks as ordered by the physician in the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements: 1) one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); or 2) one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

• May demonstrate an active willingness to learn the required skills in lieu of existing technology skills.

• ARKANSAS - May be a nursing student who has demonstrated competency in proving basic nursing skills with submitted documentation from the director or dean of the school of nursing, in lieu of being a CNA.

• CONNECTICUT - Must hold a certificate as a certified nurses assistant

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Must possess CPR certification
