Quick Facts Location: Great Bend, KS Start Date: ASAP End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day Shift (36 hours/week) with potential OT; alternating weekends Hours/Week: 36 Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: KS RT license, NBRC CRT/RRT, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP Experience: 6 months in critical care preferred; new grads encouraged to apply Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $28.57 – $37.84 (based on experience and shift differentials) Differential Pay: Evenings (+$2.30), Night (+$3.75), Weekend (+$3.00) Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and sick leave Pay package discussed upon application Sign-on bonus available; COVID vaccination required or declination What You'll Do Perform routine Epic and bedside medication verification Work independently in critical care areas after completing clinical check-offs Provide all modes of therapy across hospital units Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate therapies per protocols Mentor students and new staff to foster clinical learning Adapt to various shifts and support coverage needs Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards What You Need Required: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license from Kansas NBRC CRT/RRT credential BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications Basic computer skills Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field Additional clinical experience or education in respiratory therapy Prior experience in critical care or clinical instruction About the Assignment Join a reputable healthcare provider in Great Bend, KS, supporting patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
