RN Neuro Cardiac Part Time Nights Position Summary Up to $10,000 Bonus Based on Eligibility Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Assessment Initial assessment Re‑assessment Focused assessment based on patient condition, setting and population Problem Identification Problem identification is the nurse’s clinical judgement about the patient’s response to actual or potential health conditions or needs. Planning and Outcomes Establishing daily goals with the patient and family Formulating a plan of care Transition or discharge planning Implementation Ensures patient safety Medication administration Provision of ordered treatments Patient/Family education Provision of nursing care Documentation in healthcare record Evaluation Both the patient’s status and the effectiveness of the nursing care must be continuously evaluated, and the care plan modified as needed. Care Coordination Delegation Supervision Prioritization Licensure, Certification, and Registration License Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days. Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
