Saint John's Community Care PC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing essential therapeutic services. We understand the importance of flexibility, so you can create your own schedule based on your preferences and client availability. You will work from an outpatient office setting virtually, which offers vast resources and support from our administrative and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being through virtual sessions.
  • Evaluate clients’ unique needs, issues, and goals to formulate and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based individual therapy to clients of all ages, effectively addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
  • Facilitate couples therapy sessions to help couples enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and build stronger relationships.
  • Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on progress assessments and evolving client needs.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and case histories within electronic health record systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated care throughout the treatment process.
  • Provide crisis intervention during emergencies or acute distress situations, ensuring clients receive immediate support.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in marriage and family therapy to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge as a therapist.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and well-being, empowering them with the knowledge and resources necessary for informed decision-making regarding their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adolescents, adults, and couples facing a diverse array of mental health challenges. Our clients come from various walks of life and present with issues ranging from relational difficulties to complex emotional disorders. As a therapist here, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients in achieving their therapeutic goals and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in providing therapy to individuals and/or couples.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including both children and adults.
  • Strong skills in timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in utilizing electronic health records systems.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a remote therapy setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy.
  • Keen understanding of telehealth modalities and effective online communication techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

At Saint John's Community Care PC, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
