Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a driven Software Engineer to develop and support internal platforms that underpin key areas of the business, including investment analysis, portfolio oversight, financial accounting, regulatory compliance, and client reporting.

This role will be instrumental in advancing the firm’s technology landscape, partnering directly with business teams to turn functional needs into robust, scalable applications. The ideal candidate brings strong full-stack development experience, a thoughtful approach to system design, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level web applications used across the organization
• Design and implement scalable backend services using .NET Core, along with modern front-end solutions using Angular
• Create data-driven tools such as reports, dashboards, and automated data outputs for internal users and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain scheduled jobs and automated processing workflowsWork closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Maintain documentation of applications, processes, and system architecture
• Support deployment activities, including writing scripts and managing releases
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and deliver ongoing enhancements
• Contribute to best practices and standards for application development across the platform

Required Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• C#
• .NET (version 8+) and Web API development
• Angular framework
• Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL development, tuning, and schema design
• Experience working with ORM tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper
• Proven ability to build secure, scalable CRUD-based applications in an enterprise setting
• Familiarity with service-oriented or distributed system architectures
• Experience implementing real-time communication using technologies such as SignalR
• Exposure to reporting and visualization tools like SSRS, Power BI, or similar platforms

Additional Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous programming techniques
• Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ or similar tools)
• Experience leveraging third-party UI libraries to enhance front-end development
• Scripting ability using tools such as PowerShell or Python
• Strong working knowledge of TypeScript
